Setup Instructions for Netscape 4.0+

Information you'll need:
• Your Jobe username and password
• The correct access number for your area

1. Double-click the My Computer icon
on your desktop



2. Double-click the icon labeled Dial-Up Networking



3. Now double-click the Make New Connection icon



4. Type Jobe in the text box, and make sure you modem is selected under Select a device. Click Next



5. Type in the the correct access number, and then click Next



6. Click Finish



7. Right-click on the Icon labeled Jobe, and select Properties



8. Uncheck Use area code and Dialing Properties



9. Click the Server Types tab and uncheck Log on to network, NetBUEI, and IPX/SPX Compatible. Click OK



10. Double-click the Jobe icon.



11. Type your username and password (see your sign up sheet). You can also check the Save password box. This will allow you to connect to the internet without typing your password each time.   (Note: your password will appear in asterisks as you type it)



12. Now click Connect. You're finished. :-)
