Setup
Instructions for IE 5.0+
Information you'll need:
• Your Jobe username and password
• The correct access
number for your area
1. Right click the Internet Explorer icon and select
Properties
2. Click the General tab and type http://www.jobe.net
in the address box
3. Now click the Connection tab. Click the button
labeled Setup...
4. Select the last option (see below), and click Next
5. Click I con nect
through a phone line and a modem, then Next
6. Type in the the correct access number, and uncheck the
box that reads Dial using the area code and
county code then click Next
7. Enter your Jobe username and password (look on your
sign up sheet), then click Next (Note:
Your password will appear in asterisks as you type it)
8. Type Jobe in the Connection
name box, then hit the Next button
9. Click the Yes option, and then click Next
10. Enter your name as you want it to appear on your
email messages, and the click Next
11. Type your email address (username@jobe.net) the hit
Next
12. Select POP3 from the drop down menu and
type mail.jobe.net in the Incoming and
Outgoing mail server boxes. Click Next
13. Type your Jobe username and password once more,
then click Next
14. Click the checkbox, and then click Finish.
