Fees

Monthly user charges are a level amount based upon the Average Winter Consumption of drinking water, with a base amount of $25.29 and an additional $3.42 per thousand gallons.  The winter averaging period is from the time water meters are read in November through the February readings - a three-month period.  The winter months are used as that is when most people will not be using much water outside the home.  The April bills will normally reflect the annual adjustment to AWC. (If inclement weather causes the water utilities to estimate the readings in November or February, the AWC period will be adjusted accordingly.)

Those who are on a well or who have not established an AWC are billed by the number of occupants, using an estimated water usage of 1800 gallons per person per month.  A single-person household would pay $31.45, two-persons $37.60, three-persons $43.76, and four-persons $49.91.  (1.8 x $3.42 = $6.16 for one person, plus $25.29 = $31.45 per month for a one-person household.)

Sewer Impact Fees for new hookups are $1500.  A fifty dollar discount will be applied if this is paid in full sixty-days before the connection is made.  Monthly payments of $127 may be made in addition to monthly user charges for those who wish to finance the SIF.  This is an interest rate of only three percent.  Contact the District office sixty-days before the connection is made to sign the agreement.
